I've been a musician for a long time, but there is not much time to dedicate to art.       

I pick up my guitar and play through what I've written. I sing and put every bit of passion into a performance no one would ever hear but my cats.

 

       And I was alive. 
     

     When I close my eyes and play...the world doesn't exist anymore. There is only my voice and the chords in my hands. When I finish, and the last notes fade away into the corners of my studio...life doesn't come crashing back in. It fades. 
     

      It happens quickly, but there are a few brief moments where the song is all that there was. Before life comes surging back. Those moments are some of my favorites
